Welcome back! Been near 3 weeks since I actually did one of these. And since so much happened I'm trying to stick with my top 5 even if its 3 weeks worth of top 5's. Now coming to you from California...
1. We had one week in Arizona and we spent well as we could. Including several free movies. That was my favorite thing. That and climbing the mt by the zoo. That was fun even in the dark. I tried to not cry when we ate at Cracker Barrel for the last time, Dunkin Donuts had a coffee. Seeing Arizona Mills & Tempe Marketplace. Maybe I should be glad we never made it back to Scottsdale Fashion Square or Chandler Fashion Mall. I pretty much cried a lot and if I think about it I will cry again at the drop of a hat. We saw Captain America which was excellent, Transformers 3 so glad to see one in the theaters and it was wonderful, and Fast Five which was great. I loved that one with the AMC Dine In we got a free movie, free meal (burger & fries & soda) all free. So our last week was full of packing, storms, panick, stress and in the end good byes. So it was mixed bag.
2. We got the moving truck on the 9th and thought we could pack it all up in 12hrs. Looking back it makes me laugh. It took us 3 days at least to pack up LARGER trucks in 2007, and 2010. And it took near 3 days to unpack it last year. So really did we think we could pack it up just us two in 12hrs? LOL. So no that didnt work out. We took 3 days to pack that truck up and leave. Inbetween we had storms, another few haboo's. Once we left at 8pm on Monday night we took till 8am on Tuesday to arrive. We hit a bad lightning/thunder/rain storm in the mts in San Diego was very freaky! We had two check pts we had to get checked for coming into the state. And when we pulled up to the house we left nearly 4 yrs before in Oceanside it felt like the strangest day of my life. It still hasnt fully hit yet that this is for GOOD we are here for GOOD its not a vaction we arent going back!
3. Once we landed here in Cali I feel like we flew in. We had to unpack. There was going to storage which we had to find a second one as the first one was crap. Then spend the day unloading there. Brought rest back to parents and now all we wanted here is stuck in boxes. We should be getting ready to go to the new house. In fact we should be moving on Tue. We arent. No we arent because of the tradgedy that came over the new house when 3 died in it last week. So now my parents are looking for another house and we have to be out of this place by Nov 1st. Moving is harsh I hate moving. I dont like it. I dont like packing, unpacking, whatever. And sadly I will be moving again within the next year. I try to not think about it too much :/
4. I love the beach. Have I mentioned that? I love the fact we are again living by the beach. I missed the ocean I missed the beach I missed the sand. Sadly I havent been to the beach as much as i wanted to since we moved here. But we are now riding bikes and working on eventually riding our bikes to the beach. Love the beach. LOVE IT!
5. No i dont have a job. Yes God brought us here for some reason and I am supposed to get a job here because I couldnt get one in AZ (not counting my 2 month 2 day really job at B&B or my 3 day stupid telemarketer one). So I will be very glad to get a job one day soon. Legoland, News station, newspaper, a store, a restaurant. I still up to anything whatever job God wants to give me.
Wow we did it 5 total long things. Back to norm next weekend till then...

Weekend 5 (Sunday, Sept 4th 2011) Last time in AZ
80s songs, Panda Express, Zoo (again), Moving, Church & lasts
So we are leaving AZ for good in a week...
1. I have been finding more and more 80's songs I just love. I am kind of glad I listen to Pandora so much on "80's Pop" and find that the songs on there though each repeated every day I am on (some not so much) are wonderful in their own light. I have been so grateful to be able to check out 80's cds from the library all the time. I will miss the wonderful selection these libraries have over libraries in the past. Then again I can't say completely since my music interest have peeked in the past few yrs & changed greatly. I am more into 80's, Smooth Jazz, Country then I was 4yrs ago. The lyrics of 80's songs just really get me. How can you beat this by Mr Mister: "When I was young I thought of growing old. Of what my life would mean to me. Would I have followed down my chosen road. Or only wished what I could be." Its profound, its deep. Its 80's music. What does it mean? I think I get it. So anyway I love 80's music more and more lately. :)
2. Monday was the worst day of this past week. Only followed by Thur. But the name alone says Monday sucks. I thought I was going to an open house job fair at Panda Express in Tempe. But first I thought I was going to talk to the mgr of the Paradise Bakery that is opening in Tempe as well. They are truly right across from each other. Mel dropped me off and did not realize how far I would have to walk in the heat. So i had to walk like 4 blocks to this thing arrived so sweaty it was gross. Only to find I could not talk to the mgr of Paradise Bakery. And the open house at Panda Express was for hiring of MANAGERS only! The sign on the door said they were hiring. Made me so made. I took their free kids sized drink got 4 refills before leaving for the bus. Not a fun day at all!
3. Tuesday was supposed to be go online then go to the Phoenix Zoo (again) for the concession job fair. We went late as my sister picked up a much needed shift at SL. So I go down there and imagine my happy surprise its a Job Fair for ALL areas including the one I wasn't hired for (they are still hiring and they did not hire me and said they had hired someone else why?). I tried for photography, concessions and retail store. Very happy day! Ended sad when retail said they would not hire me just two days later but hey happy on Tue at least
4. I dont want to explain the whole reason for it all but on the 1st we went down to the office to pay our half rent. We were told we could do so an come back with the second half the 20th. Shocking was told we had to pay nearly $900 more by the 10th. And since there is no way in h*ll we could come up with that we are now moving back with our parents in a week. Yes in a WEEK. Thats ONE WEEK to pack, to leave, to say good byes. Yes its insane. I feel like we are being punished for something and all this means. I dont know what or why either. Our pets will suffer most in a 3 bedroom and no room for us. Its totally unfair what is going on. I wont be online much after this so there you go.
