Been busy week, busy month. And last one of these for November INSANE!
1. Been getting along fine with my National Novel Writing Month novel. Doing a bit bad on the poetry one. I am going to work on catching up so I can finish on time for both. As for NaNo I skipped one day cause I was ahead and now I'm kinda behind a little. I should be over 40K but I am not. Even the stats on the pg thinks so it told me today I wont finish till December 1st. Oh shut up LOL! I will finish on Thursday. Tomorrow (Mon) I write for today & tomorrow. Tuesday I dont work so I write for Tuesday & Wednesday. I break on Wednesday. Thursday I write for Thur & Fri. And Friday the ONLY thing I will be doing is sticking my book online :) Next time you see me on the weekend I will be a winner. Would love to get the $$ and get a shirt this year who knows ;)
2. Rainbow had some issues this week that I did not get till they happened. After over a week of her licking her tail an butt area. I swear I thought it was her allergies. I read online what it was. Something to do with her anal sacks (dogs & cats have) and them not being empty. After much work I got them not full (it was SO gross!). Then I went to give her pumpkin which upset her stomach for two days. Now I gave her carrots. I think it was either cause it was gonna happen *common for small dogs* (cats can get it too wtheck?) OR cause after months of run/walks every other day I am not doing anything. So I gave her a walk on Thursday and a walk today. I am aiming for one in some form every other day. Soon I will be back to doing workouts for the 5K in Feb. Till then my poor baby!
3. My job is crazy with drama. So much I dont know how much I want to say. But hours have been killed right and left. I thought I would get 31.5 and planned it such. Then I got cut a day and down to just 28 which sucks :( However I am the 2nd in command now which means: if my boss left or was fired (please no!) I would be in charge of the kiosk. I can close and I have two shifts of opening alone this week tomorrow & Wed. I should get more hours than everyone else. I hope she means it. She likes and trusts me. I need a minium of 30hrs per week or more to be able to save for all I need to & want to save for this season.. (btw a REAL calendar kiosk opened up on Saturday and its got all the calendars I want and more but its not well lit and in an odd place. I will go there on the 26th for all my stuff gladly! Just hope they dont take our business away...)
4. Thanksgiving was on Thursday. Its hard to believe its been a year in this house. This year I am thankful for: my pets, my family, my friends (especially those who STICK and STUCK by me since I lost my best bud this yr when she ditched me!), house to sleep in, food on the table, God, and mostly good health. Yeah stuff like that! For real. So my sister worked double shifts. I didnt mall was closed. Uncle Mike who is still not in good health came over. Its a new tradition that is sticking. He had dinner and left. All good fun. I love turkey I kinda miss it already since its all gone till Christmas...
5. Well we finally went to church today. YES WE DID! After weeks and weeks of listening to them online when we can to catch up (you'd be in shock what you can do today online ha I love it. Tithe and listen and print out the notes too for our church awesome!). The biggest issue we stopped was: they got rid of the noon service Sundays and especially the night service. Now its on Saturday nights but its near impossible to get over there. If one of us isnt working the other is, its a popular night. So we have been skipping a lot. Got to hear the last of the 4 weeks series all good stuff! Hope to be back soon (but maybe not next weekend...)

Weekend 5 (Sunday, November 18th 2012)
Been a busy week for me!
1. I have not worked out in two weeks eek! I really do need to get going on that. But its been difficult as all my shifts at work are evening & nights. It also gets darker earlier so that sucks. So I hope to get back into it soon. Soon as I can I will be committing us to another 5K in February.
2. Yesterday was the library book sale. It was a good one this time so glad. I got tons of mags and some good books. Nothing I expected but I had $5 and made it there to do it so I am glad for the sale and glad I found stuff to fill my bag. I have too many mags now to go through... oops. Also this weekend saw Breaking Dawn Part 2. I will review it tomorrow on tumblr. It was excellent, great, cant believe its over... go see it
3. This calendar kiosk brings up SO many memories of working at one before. Of course the difference is: its way tiny, there is only one of them, oh and all our friends from TN dont work there. Plus I like who I work for and well there you go. But good times
4. My wish list for Christmas & bday is simply: some kinda shoes I have been wanting. And getting my ear lobe pierced other side. It will hurt but I will deal. The ear I hope to do on my bday. Unsure if I can do the shoes and if I can when.
5. I have been working A LOT. And the hours are only going up. Last week and this week is 25. But NEXT week (begins on Saturday coming weekend till the following Friday) I'm working 6 days at 32.5hrs. I am SO SO glad for a job that I love even if its slow for now, a boss thats great and most of all hours. A job that appreciates me. I miss LL at times more than others. But seeing how they never called me back I know that THIS was meant to be and sadly that was not :(

Weekend 5 (Sunday, November 11th 2012)
1. Its been 1 year since we moved into this house. Hard to believe this! Its been a long year but longer still. A whole year? For real? At times the time seems to fly other times it seems to go slow. Hoping it wont be another year till we move out...
2. So the election came and went. I wont be shy by saying I am rather disappointed that guess who was voted in for a second term. Mind you I am not against the color of his skin or anything but the way the country is doing worse 4 years in. Plus this healthcare thing that will probably plague me badly in 2014 or 2016 if i dont have it. I think its wrong. There are policies and things that have happened while he was in office and I cant believe Amercians want 4 more years of this. Are they blind? Yeah maybe the other guy wouldnt have helped or done worse but when the one who brought it about is still in office I have to complain a bit. 4 more years ugh why Americans why??
3. Well I didnt really workout this week. Ha! After weeks and months of preparing for that race I have slacked this week. Its okay I will get back to it soon. I kinda have to as we are committing to one to two 5K's possibly and possibly on the same day in Feb. And thats not that far away. After all I worked for nearly this whole year since like April to prepare for a race in November (5 months). Why not prepare for a race in 3 months more time as well?
4.Well the BIGGEST news of the week is I HAVE A JOB! And man was that unexpected. Here I was all set Monday to start calling jobs and applying. I need a job and LL isnt calling me back even if I applied 2 weeks ago (today). Then last week and an interview set up for Hickory Farms. My interview on Monday she told us we hired but had to check references. Well she sent my paperwork email on Tuesday. I waited to tell anyone but family about it. But when I was called on Tuesday night to come in on Thursday for my first day I knew it was real! I've worked two days now my third being today. Heres the scoop: paid weekly (on Mondays-I get my first check on Tuesday due to the holiday), $8.50 an hour, and I will get 20-40hrs per week. My first week (began Fri) till Thur of next I will have close to 26hrs. I am nervous about closing alone as in the reg too and after tonight when I train there ya go. I was first put on Hickory Farms for 2 days but they run the small calendar kiosk upstairs. And as of tonight i will be there only unless HF needs me below. I was recommended...just when I had given up on getting a calendar kiosk job one finds me. What do you know!
5. Odd to say it but its true. Its been 5 years to dates & days this week since we move to TN. Knowing what I know now I wish we were back there. I wish it some days more then other. We went through h*ll at times bad things all the time. Struggles and stress. But the area, the state, the people the friends we made, the jobs we had and for me the school I went to changed our lives! We grew up we learned a lot about ourselves as people. I know we lost 2 pets while there and gained 2 more. But there you go. I miss you TN with ALL MY HEART!

Weekend 5 (Sunday, November 4th 2012)
Welcome to November! 2days till the Presidental Election. Who's voting?? Not me oh well... :)
1. This was my first weekend not working. It felt odd but I have the comfort of the race (talk about more below). I turned in my uniform on Friday and got my check. While I was HAPPY I got more than I planned $10 more to be exact. I was NOT happy with both how they treated me for being upset with my bad review (like it was *MY* fault). And how vague they were not telling me if I can come back depends on the departments. So I am happy with my fact I have an interview with Hickory Farms tomorrow. I could work both maybe. But truly I wanted another shot at park in retail or even admissions or rides if they want (I applied to ALL 3!). I wanted to have one more season. I was planning to apply for the hotel next year. But if things end how they ended and I dont come back I am unsure about my future. Sad to think how excited I was a year ago when I was taken on...
2. Due to the way it worked out Saturday the 3rd marks 5 years to the date & day we left for TN. I wish I knew then what I know now: it would all work out, we would love it but we would be coming back to CA eventually so dont take every thing you own with you dumba**. Oh well I cant tell my past self that one. I miss TN. This time 5 years ago we was in Needles, CA sleeping and resting. We left early on Monday morning. In fact here is a run down for you:
Sat., Nov 3rd left CA coming into Las Vegas to see my (then) best friend Deborah at night. We then almost stayed at a Motel6 but it cost too much so we continued onto what we thought was AZ not knowing that in order to leave NV and go to AZ we had to dip back into the tip of CA. Late night/early morning Sun., Nov 4th we pulled into the Motel6 in Needles, CA. Cause it was after 5am we were able to stay till early morning on Mon which we did. We slept and ate and rested up.
Mon., Nov 5th we began early out to go to AZ. However when our tail light burned out on the trailer we ended up being forced to stay Nov 5th night in AZ in Flagstaff.
Tue, Nov 6th finally around 1pm we were able to leave after they came to fix our taillight what a pain! Drove through AZ, NM and onto TX
Wed, Nov 7th early we checked into our motel6 TX stayed till early Thur
Thur, Nov 8th we left in the afternoon driving straight through to TN. But got stuck again on Thur night when our tail light burned out again. Ended up staying in Jackson, TN over night.
Fri, Nov 9th we booked it from Jackson to Murfreesboro arriving barely before the office closed and moved in from 3pm till 3am early Sat, Nov 10th (we dropped U-Haul off that day Sat, Nov 10th)
WHAT A TRIP THAT WAS!
3. National Novel Writing Month began on the 1st. I am doing this for my 5th year. Another nice Young Adult Fantasy but romance too. I am also attemping Poem A Day or PAD we shall see I am behind but hope to catch up soon. Poetry & book writing are two different parts of my brain all together!
4. The weather is so confusing around here. It dropped to 72* this morning warming up to 86* by mid afternoon. This week we will be in the high 80* half the week (inland getting into high 90*). I swear last year we had cold temps day & night. Now its only in the night. Ugh. Where is my cooler temps??
5. Yesteray was The Color Run of San Diego. My first 5K since 2010 (April of in TN). I did not run it really just like my Jingle Bell Run first 5K in December 2009. But it was tons of fun. I loved the color especially the blue. Everyone wanted to be super colorful and the blue area was the most popular as it was the last. I had it poured on my hair. My sister took pictures. Fantastic fun time! Our team was not together for it most of them seperated. We had Jamba Juice after. Then came home where my parents who saw us after for a minute, had pizza to celebrate. I prepared for months for something i walked the whole thing. But who cares. Maybe will do again next year it was that much fun :)
