1. On Tuesday for the first time we went to The Flower Fields with our parents. It was a lot of fun doing something we've gone to a few times and always just me and my sister. We treated our parents each paying for one. Rode the tractor (they paid their $5 each) but we got in free, free for everything. We saw the flowers, we saw the maze (got lost so we gave up LOL). Only thing we didnt get was strawberry shortcake as they dont seem to sale them but on the weekends sadly :(
2. On Tuesday before the Flower Fields we went to San Diego. We saw "The Kissing Statue" that will be changed to a bronze version (I like this one better thanks!). But it was a lot of fun taking pictures by it and the Bob Hope memorial. We then went out to eat at CiCi's pizza. We always knew it was out there as they used to advertise for it when we lived out here in 2007 on tv. Then we moved to TN and had one right by us enjoying going there every few months. Our parents never been. This is only 1 of 2 in this state and we got to share it with them. It was like the first time they ate at Cracker Barrel. A piece of home touched in our state. It was a lot of fun and I wouldnt mind going back again sometime there. :)
3. I worked both my shifts this week SO HAPPY! I thought for sure I'd lose a shift I was thinking my greatest chance was Friday although the rains we got on Wed night made me think it would be Thur instead. But I worked both days. My check will round out at just under 9hrs since I lost 10 mint on Fri and 10 mint last week. I have it figured out enough money now to even see "The Avengers" opening weekend :) So I was happy to work yeah!! I love working :)
4. Friday night was our monthly Singles Group meet up at Church. It was a lot of fun. Especially hearing about all the stuff the group wants to do this summer including the San Diego Zoo and Disneyland!! I love this group of fun people singles of all ages. I am wondering why we shyed away from this group 5 yrs ago. Also heard about at North Coast Calvary Chapel they have a group meets every Friday night for people in their 30's (thats me!) and 40's (coming soon LOL). And sometimes people in their 20's. So we may be checking that out soon. I will be needing to change my ability to work on Fridays starting in June as the park is open later and I will be working too late for anything. I love having stuff to do with people MY age. Dont get me wrong I love working at LL but everyone I work with is in their 20's or late teens...
5. Saturday (yesterday) was a long day. We got to see my cousins 3 cats & her for an hour (wish could have been longer sadly). We havent seen those cats since they were babies back in 2007 and they just turned 5. Then we went to a baby shower for a gal I went to high school with (a yr younger). Shes been in TN for years now this was my first baby shower and first time seeing her since I went to school in person. (FB I see people all the time but person is different!). Then we went to our old hang outs some of them in Orange County. Havent drove around the area since 2007 briefly saw some in 2010 but only to and from Disneyland was all. I cant believe how much it has changed, it all looked different but some the same. Stood in front of our house I lived in for 26yrs. Its so changed our uncle made it like a new place but since I know its the same house even if it looks so different it made me want to cry and so many emotions. I took pictures and I will think about this often after. Who's that living there in our old place? Hum.
AND
6. I've decided after sitting at a baby shower with moms around us most of which who may just be stay at home mom's. Our lives arent boring. We (meaning my sister and me) might not be married, dating, or have human kids. But we've traveled, lived in 2 other states, have lots of furry pet kids, work at a theme park that just really made several people couldnt believe it LL, volunteer at flower fields not to mention we volunteer in races, and just try to be out there. I guess its good having so much going on. Who knows how long this will last. Tomorrow the right one could come along, and lives wont be so out there. We have good lives. I'm trying to figure things out again its so hard, and so much of my past invading my present, its overwhelming. But lets face it we DO NOT live boring lives! And that makes me happy most of all :)

Weekend 5 (Sunday, April 22nd 2012)
1. Last week was my first this season to see very little hours at work. I love working at the park but now for the next month my shifts will be far and inbetween. Not on the weekend even though I dont ask for them off all the time. I hate this. I love working and hate not working. I dont know what to do with my time not to mention I still need $$. So till June I get 2 days a week if I'm lucky.
2. I only worked one time last week. I had TWO shifts scheduled for 3hrs each. It was a bit slower on Thur but I thought for sure Fri would stick as it wasnt raining and it was the weekend. Nope. I was already down there with my sister who worked morning napping in the car. So I had to buy my stuff, drop off my request off for our race on May 6th and not work my 3 hrs :( This coming week I have 2 days again and I hope I keep them both! No calls today either sigh...
3. I worked out for the first time in forever on Wed. It was fun! I did wiifit I only did a few on there, mostly did strength training & yoga. And my bad right knee that hasnt been able to bend in weeks is finally able to sorta bend again. However I felt it and I was all achy that night from what i thought was a light workout. Oh well its a start. Sadly I gained weight from almost 2 months of nothing. I'm not saying how much but it was a lot and I was very shocked! :o
4. Went to Panera Bread on Wed night. Mostly to just "read" and drink coffee. But the coffee and cookie took me back to TN. You see we didnt have any Paneras in AZ so I associate it with only TN. We didnt go online so it wasnt like back then but still. I thought for a second i would look outside and see Walmart like I used to from ours in TN. Sigh Panera...
5. Volunteered for only the second time yeseterday at the flower fields. I'm disappointed we havent been able to find time to volunteer much. The season ends on the 13th of May this may have been our last time. At the Sweet Pea Maze again for nearly 2.5hrs (got late and no parking). But Red Hat Ladies and Blues Music kept us going. Was fun. And as always LOVE LOVE the free flowers after :)

Weekend Five (Sunday, April 15th 2012)
1. What a week its been for ANTS & CANDY. And what a way to start this one out of the week. Last Monday we got ants SUPER bad in our room. Worse then the week before. So bad we had to buy spray, and spray the whole room where they at and put Maggie in our bathroom. The ants today came back in our kitchen again. They never left the hallway or bathrooms really. Stupid bugs are NEVER going away. Its just horrible! Also this week nearly every day it seemed I was getting Easter candy for cheap. I think I will be good and dont plan on anymore but I cant seem to help stocking up on the best candy of all the holidays! Yum.
2. I worked just 3 days this week. It was going to be 4 Tue-Fri with Monday off. Next week starts less hours cause the parks closed till June on Tue & Wed and its slower too. But Friday I am guessing due to rain I lost my shift. I was okay with it. The week was crazy busy but okay otherwise. I wish I could have seen some celebs at my place. I hear big celebs like Adam Sandler & Sandra Bullock came to the park!
3. We had a nice sized storm on Friday. I was glad I didnt have to go in. We even finally got some thunder & lightening! We never get that in our area its rare for OC too but they got it the other night and we didnt get anything. I was so happy. I loved it. Claps of thunder, lightening. The wind was kinda crazy it went on all night the rain mostly gone by evening. What a storm!
4. Saturday we did the Bluegrass music thing at The Flower Fields. As a volunteer we get in for free even when not working it. So we heard some music that made me miss TN a whole lot. Then we left right after and went to see "Mirror Mirror". A very good film. Very full busy Saturday.
5. Today we had lunch with some of the people from our Singles Group at church. It was a lot of fun even if it only lasted an hour. I loved hanging out. I wish I did it more often as its a bit ackward since I dont do it much and my social skills are going to pot I guess.

Weekend 5 (Sunday, April 8th 2012)
1. Friday marked 3 yrs to the day of the Good Friday tornados that almost hit our apts in TN and tore apart our town. 3 yrs to the day and it was Good Friday again. I will NEVER EVER forget that day. I will talk more about it after the date next weekend!
2. Ants invaded our home this week. More than usual. They have been coming in here since day 1 and we have dealt with them it seems once a week or more. And in the past few weeks even more. This past week they came in our closet in our room the ONE Place we had food. Poor Maggie my sisters cat she has dry food, wet food and water in there. It was a doom from the start. Shocked it took this long. And horrible all the same. After taking care of them two days worth trying so hard they are gone. Only to last night have them on my sister in her bed, and under the bed. In the pile next to the bed in OUR STUFF. Now the whole room sprayed AGAIN. They are just annoying little buggers and they dont go away. They are still finding their way around the house. You cant check too often, or sweep too much. Horrible stupid ants!
3. I have worked a lot this week. I just got done today having worked 5 days in a row. With busy Spring Break I added a half hour to each day on Wed, Thur, and Fri. It wasnt till Saturday and today that I got off on time. Crazy busy. Plus I have been sick a month now and its not going away like I want it to. Oh and I didnt have time for a walk this week but on Tuesday a week since the dog attack. I thought Rainbow was excited and loved the walk. Till we got home, and I figured out half way in that she was freaked out the whole time. She came home tail down, scared and shaking. Honestly she cant talk but I know she was freaked another attack would happen so she got what was going on the whole time. :(
4. Wednesday was free burgers at Islands. The day of the special wave if you had a picture of the wave you got a that burger free with fries. So all we paid for was drinks (we had to pay nothing). Sadly due to the fact everyone was doing this. Everyone was there and it took almost an hour to get our food. I was so starving by time we got it I ate it in five minutes. And it was a big burger. Worth it? Maybe. But still...an hour?
5. Today is Easter. We celebrate that Jesus rose again on the 3rd day as He promised. People who arent believers dont get it. They dont get why He had to rise or why its important. It proves that we will rise again. If He didnt rise again then He wasnt God and we are not going to heaven. There is nothing to hope for. Its not about the bunny. Its about our Savoir. And I mean the worlds not just mine! He died and rose for EVERYONE! I didnt to church but got close. However I dedicated my time and watched it online. Next week I will go to church again after almost 2 months of not going...
AND
6. I finally got to purchase my last 2 tax related items. I used some of my tax money I paid back and some of my money since my check was nice and I planned this. I purchased "Breaking Dawn" part 1 on dvd. And wii Zumba. I hope its fun! And I feel good enough to use it soon. If I like it maybe I will get the 2nd game. They should come this week I hope :)

Weekend 5 (Sunday, April 1st 2012)
NO April fools joke! I'm doing a Weekend 6 this time :)
1. After I lost my shift a week ago, I was only TOO happy when I got called in to work on Monday. I was running on 4hrs of sleep when I was asked to come in and I said yes. And hello to making up the lost time of Sunday, plus adding 3.5hrs more to my check for this coming Friday. I also got to come in earlier on Wed at 12 not 3:30 adding another 3hrs. I am happy this will be largest check from the park for this Season! And I need it so thats great! :) I also worked Wed-Thur, Sat-Sun. This weekend was busy. It was "Stars Wars Days" and it was packed. I got the chance today to walk around and see some characters and get some free stuff & take some pictures. It was all fun. Working so much has made it hard for me to read. I havent read much this week at all sometimes so tired that I just sit there and stare at the tv. I also miss going to church. I havent been to church in over a month now (mainly cause I've been sick but today and last week was for work-then I lost my shift yeah we know it) I hope to make an appearance on Easter but dont know how that will work out yet seeing I work again next Sunday...
2. On Tuesday I went out for a walk with Rainbow. I hadnt been on one in over a week. And due to the shift on Monday Tuesday was my only shot for the week since I work evenings. I was just walking my dog two houses down from our house when out of the blue as I bent to get a baggie for my babies poo. 2 HUGE dogs came running up to us. They werent friendly dogs no sir they wanted to KILL MY DOG! How did I know? They was jumping in the air as I held her WAY in the air and trying to bite her from me. Big furry evil monsters! The owner didnt say sorry just got them away they was hitting me in the chest sometimes with their big stupid paws in the attempts to fly higher and get her. I was shaking so hard from the thing I hardly was able to finish our small walk around the block. I got home and I cried for a long time. Scariest thing ever. I was just scaried I for my baby! :(( Now I'm nervous about going on walks with her. I was thinking of taking her tomorrow or Tue my days off but if I do I wont take her our usual way we got to get another usual way I cant go that way anymore. Stupid lady! Stupid DOGS!
3. Wednesday my sister decided after we both worked hard at work to take us out to Islands Restaurant. We havent been out to eat since our birthdays (hers not mine I didnt do the traditional restaurant) and not to Islands since last year with our parents. It was a fun time. Not enough to each get a good drink but we ate well and I was happy. It was a fun little treat thanks to her :)
4. I've been sick now for almost 4 weeks (as of Wednesday coming one). Plus my cold started coming back 3 days ago so now I'm coughing more, my colds worse and its not going away. I dont know what to do. I sleep, I take vitamin C, I drink hardly any soda and have hardly any sweets. Its driving me crazy. Why wont it go away? I hate being sick! Its just not fair :( Plus my poor sister had an accident I wont go in details but she got hurt on Friday night and its still affecting her 2 days later...
5. Our weather is so strange. It didnt rain really all week. Then come Saturday night it just rained for an hour and stopped again. Welcome to California the strange weather state. Was just glad it was done by today would have recked work had it been raining still!
AND
6. I saw The Hunger Games on Friday night with my sister. SUCH A GOOD FILM! I loved the books and now I love the movie. It was nearly the same as the book. I am going to buy the book finally I am planning on it. But anyways see the movie, read the books. If I had the money I would see it again its simply WONDERFUL!!!! :)
