Weekend 5 (Sunday, May 1st 2011)

Yup...

1. Due to the fact that I still have not heard back from Crocs Shoes as a second interview I was promised I am still waiting. I have been forced to keep looking for work. So Thur I was all set to do an interview at American Eagle. But then the day I was there all day at the mall they called to reschedule as the mgr had hurt her toe. So now my interview is next Wed. I was at the mall all day online and in pain after from the chair haha

2. I did contact CSB in GA to find out again if I can intern. I was originally only given till January and then we moved and I was unable to secure a job. I wish I had checked with them sooner as they are willing to try to help me out again. The will call me this week. I am very excited and glad I can still get an internship going but I dont know where it will be with. I will be researching this and awaiting a call from them

3. I found out that the holes in my mouth have not healed. The dentist said 7 to 10 days, but its been 5 weeks since the operation. And they are not healed. Now I hear this is normal and I will have to keep them clean still. I'm just annoyed at my dentist telling me one thing when it was not true at all :(

4. Friday night we did the Rock the Zoo at the Phoenix Zoo. We volunteered 9-12am and it was SO MUCH FUN! We were at the table where volunteers check out and it was a simple thing of just telling them to sign out and asking if they have radios. Very easy job. In turn we got tshirts, free food & free coffee. And we could hear the 80's bands playing. The event cost $75 (proceeds for the zoo) but we did it all for free. It was almost like attending but not seeing the bands. Cool!

5. So Osama Bin Laden is dead. 10 yrs almost since 9/11 and he is gone. I will never forget 9/11 and how it changed us all. And although it might be wrong I am glad he is gone. I hear he killed over 6,000 people. As well as we have been after him since the early 90's (I was unaware of this I thought it was around 1998 or 1999 but it was not). President Bush had to leave office and it was sad he didnt get the guy behind those horrible attacks. Now he is gone and we rejoice!
