2 weeks till Christmas wow!
1. Proudly I got through some boxes in the garage. I was SO happy to finally find things like my blanket for my bed, my last bathroom box, and my bed boxes. If only I had enough space to actually unpack the boxes. Instead I am forced to chose what I want most and put that away somewhere. On a side note: ants found their way to my bed few days ago. Really freaked me out and did not make me happy. I hope they dont come back and bite me as I sleep at night :(
2. Melody had her 29th birthday on Tuesday. It was a busy day including hiking at Torrey Pines which we havent been to in a year. And dinner at Mimmi's Cafe. It felt different celebrating with the parents since we havent done this in 5 yrs. Usually its me and Mel and some food place. Last year we went down to Flagstaff and looked at stars eating at Chili's before going home. How a year changes things...
3. We arent going to Disneyland now this month at all. I am sad to report even though it was supposed to be next weekend we would go. Suddenly stupid Dland goes and blocks all weekends and thats all we can do because my friends friend who was gonna sign us in only not works the weekends. Its a big mess and something I am NOT happy about. We have only 3 days in January we can do it before the holiday stuff comes down. Trying to be hopeful but still not happy :(
4. We only did one bike ride this week and it was simply to go to the store for something. It wasnt far away but something. I really need to be biking every few days if nothing else just around the neighborhood I am getting badly out of shape since we only ride ONCE a week if that!
5. I only worked twice this week but loved every minute of it. Doing it both times reminded me of 2006 when Mel would work before me and I would come in with her. Since both times I had to come in hours before my shift. Monday I slept in the car for a few hrs then went in the park to read. Saturday I just went in and sat at the cafe reading before my shift. Oh well love it still :)
