Welcome to APRIL! It truly is my favorite month for several reason: I love spring, I love even numbers and April is the ONLY month fully in *SPRING* that is an even number :)
1. Unemployment this week has been a PAIN. They made me send it on Monday not Saturday (even though I usually finish the 10 spots for 2 weeks worth before Saturday). Then they didnt pay me. I have to wait 10 days to call them. This is the first time they ever went more than like 5 days since sent out to pay me the latest before this was a Thursday. So as of Friday nothing. They dont pay you on the weekend. I called Friday and its still "current" so its just not paid just late dont know why. Really makes me mad when you count on the money and you havent been paid in 2 weeks its not even a lot of money to just not give me it on time is really really annoying! I dont have any jobs calling me none this week at all. Its rare to be called. I now use snagajob, craigslist and careerbuilder. You'd think I would have a job by now. May is coming LL will give me a chance again and I wonder in the end if the reason I am not working is because I am supposed to be back with them...sigh
2. The weather was beautiful all week. Today we decided to go to the beach. Well it didnt turn out like we hoped. Besides getting worren out walking one way up the beach and back. My sister lost her flip flop it fell out of her bag. Where did it fall out? Not close to where we stopped to walk on the pier but didnt. No. It fell out where we turned around. So we had to walk that beach TWICE. I found it just as she had given up. It was wet and sandy which means it had fallen out and been beat up by the ocean but it had not been taken out THANK GOD for that one! After we got that and decided the pier wasnt happening. Found out for the first time ever we were locked out of the jeep. After waiting over 30 min our parents brought the spare. Got to try a yogurt place we always pass to and from the movie theater which was fun. Mostly to get warm. And there ya go. Odd ball Sunday!
3. Workouts this week not really anything. Unless you count my walk on the beach four times (back and fourth twice) then I did 2 walks this week. While walks are beautiful and wonderful I am glad for them. Its not runs. Its not the wiifit, or zumba. I need to get back into workouts this week starting Thursday as Tuesday will be out all day. I have gotten back to being lazy since the races are done for now. Which is bad because we could try to do a race in like 2 or 3 months I need to be staying in shape somewhat so I can just start training not starting at ground zero, again, like I had to in January after not doing anything November or December.
4. Well the LL hotel is up and running. Wow. I cant believe it. I watched that thing being built in 2011 and 2012. And not only did I not get a job at it because they are ignoring me till May. But I wasnt working the park at all. Rejected twice. I do not like that. I hope the hotel brings lots of money and people in. Maybe more hours for us who work there or want to! Also the 5th was a memory I dont care to share that happened to me 7 years ago. It was a good day I dont regret it at all just how I acted that changed something with someone greatly after it was done...
5. We did the Safari Park for the first time with our passes on Tuesday. Its been nearly a year since we last came. We did it for free last year in May after volunteering at the race. This time we used our passes. We stayed around 5hrs came in at 2 left at 7 when they closed. And fun was bringing our favorite cousin Jenny! Yeah :) We didnt see all the park but go to see a lot. Got to ride the tram. She did the zip line thing we watched her do that. I wouldnt ever want to do that but I wouldnt mind doing something extra next time we go. (Our next date is probably in May the zoo again with my sisters friend). Honestly if we had more money, lived closer I am sure we would be using our passes several times a month isnt of once a month if lucky...
till next weekend. Long boring week ahead. Hope tomorrow my UE is here, and Tuesday we are seeing a movie and I'm getting out to apply for jobs so theres that...
