Welcome to the first day of Spring!! We are finally here aren't we? Been a long cold winter and we are back in warmer temps. But honestly the weather we are seeing it seems like Winter still. If not here then other places. Haha. But welcome Spring.
1. This week marks 7 years since our smaller tornado. It was about a month before the bigger one that actually almost hit us. This one hit the boys and girls club near by and the theater we never used and almost a few other eating places. The stories we heard after. But I had NO idea that day it was a tornado. We had severe thunder storm warnings and I was home alone with ALL the pets: 4 cats & 1 dog. Alone. So I am glad we were okay and I had no idea what happened.
2. School this week last before Spring break yeah! It was an oddly slow few days. On Monday we watched our projects that I still have no idea what grade I got sadly. But still got to show them off. After seeing so many I realize the way I did mine was way different so I hope I got a good grade. Online class is okay. I start a few more classes next week so that should be fun I hope. Ha. But anyways that is school. Off for this coming week
3. Workouts this week I did TWO real workouts. 45min each time and each one included 4 times me jogging/running for 1min. I threw in an extra minute on Friday. Then the race is today and well that is for next week. But yeah I prepared best I could for the race and that is all that counts right?
4. We set the clocks ahead an hour now we are enjoying our extra day light. NO complaints that it now gets dark at almost 7:30 the sun sets at 7 like that. On Thursday St Paddy's Day I went with my mom for a drive it was fun by the beach. Sure we saw no pelicans but had fun and a nice change since my sister was working and we didn't do nothing fun. Now it is Spring so that is nice. Looking forward to all the things Spring brings.
5. Work this week was NOT BUSY! I asked for Sunday and Saturday off this weekend and so I lost all these hours. I worked last Sunday and then nothing again till tomorrow (Monday) that is SO ODD! My job could have easily given me hours Tuesday, Thursday or Friday. But gave me barely under 5hrs last Sunday then nothing. Poo. Not much next week either. I need a new job BADLY!
