1. I have been working a lot this week. Sadly less next week. Starting to wonder why I was expecting so much from the Summer. Thought I could save for my ipod, computer, internship and still have money for fun stuff and the scratching post for the cat. Now I will be lucky to get the computer & ipod. And I wont be able to intern this Fall :(( Me not happy as its near impossible for me to think about saving for $$ during the 2 months in the Fall and now I dont know WHEN I can intern.
2. Been doing lots of workouts this week. Been exhausting actually doing that and working. Hard to be faithful for working out when I am this tired from working here and there. But I hope it pays off as starting tomorrow I begin adding in my runs/jogs with my walks. And I think I have a routinue finally to run for now at least. Until I start putting more than 30 mint out there. We look to pay for the race next month mid-month and cant wait. Just wish we could get some people to join us two more for a team. If we cant I guess we will be doing it with another person my sister is friends with they have a huge team so its still cheaper for us in the end even if we wont meet up till race day! Cant wait for November :)
3. Rainbow turned 10 on Saturday (yesterday). I cant believe she is 10. Its not that old as a "smaller dog" she wont even need yearly check ups twice a year till 11 or 12. She is good health wise if you dont count her allergies, her ear thing recently and she has fleas (meds are on the way hope here before Wed dont want them spreading). I love her so much and cant believe 10 years has come at last. I gave her a cute toy and some ice cream later on. But as shes gotten older I HAVE noticed she isnt great with people food and especially with milk products so her ice cream will be spread out for the next few days instead of giving it to her in two or three day pieces. Love you baby!
4. Its Summer hard to believe it. I cant believe it I am actually celebrating and in California FOR SUMMER! I havent been out here for Summer since 2007! You are looking at we visited both in 2010 and 2011 but both times came weeks before Summer. Its so different. I get the weather on my phone for both AZ & TN as well as here. Most days its 70 here, 90's in TN, and over 110 in AZ. There you can compare. Last year I was enjoying my internship but suffering in walking in downtwon Phoenix. I loved it so much. I hate the heat but I loved AZ a lot. Never will understand how much things can change not all for the good in a year!
5. Today we tried out a new church. I can finally say we may have found our for good church! Gone are the days of going to Calvary Chapel I'm sorry we spent 4 years not with that church and fell in love with the two churches we got to know in TN (Baptist) and Cornerstone in AZ. So going to CC off and on for the past 9 months hasnt been easy. You dont get the difference till you break away from CC and we knew it true. No offense if you love and go to CC forever. But its not the church for me nor my sister. This church is called "The Movement" its similar in its free stuff and its really cool! The music was loud and all that jazz. We caught them on the last Sunday at their old building of 9 years. Next week we get to join them at their new location. Fun times!
till next week and we begin July! Last Sunday in June!!
