1. Comic Con was this week. I recall when I first heard about Comic Con was while working at the Lego Store in Anaheim. I really didnt know much about that kind of stuff and its been around for like 40 years. Earlier this year I looked into volunteering and found the spots got filled pretty quickly for volunteers and those who paid. Next year we are vowing to actually GO to it and not even volunteer. Shall see when they sell tickets and how much they cost but trying to be HOPEFUL for it. Looks like tons of fun!
2. Our weather has been a roller coaster ride. Still not used to the weather by the beach. Most days it is sunny then some days it is cloudy and overcast. Then on Thursday out of the blue for 5 mint it rained! I lost my shift cause of this weather change. Its just crazy. Today sunny and breezy.
3. I havent worked as much as I wanted to. This week is okay after I got a shift and lost one. Next week I work very little. Hoping for at least one call in and two would be great to cover the shift I lost last week. Just inching my way through this season by the teeth in my mouth. I did try for a job at the NEW Dollar Tree. What a waste of time that was. The manager "Steve" acted like he liked me and never called me on Monday night or Tuesday! I didnt get any shot at all at a job 5 mint from me that I could walk to. I'm just doomed to never work a new store opening and never a store or place close to home :(
4. Workouts this week havent been as much. But I'm up now to running 2 min, walking 4. Hasnt been easy. My third attempt today. I skipped Friday cause I was too tired but am forcing myself today even though I have lack of sleep again. Ugh. Getting in shape sucks. But I did a Zumba yesterday and guess what? 45 min and I wasnt nearly tired as I used to be, and wanted to do more! So I hope that means I am finally getting in shape. I love Zumba it was a nice way to burn some energy.
5. Its been a big week on anniversarys for us. 2 years ago on the 14th of July we left the state of TN for the state of AZ arriving on July 16th (tomorrow). I miss that state so much. And a year ago today on the 15th of July I saw my best friend in person for the last time. She judged me and then ditched me on fb the final straw in May. Times, people change. But I cant forget the things that change me the most. Friendships lost and gained, deaths, births, and moves all seem to rule my life for the past couple of years
