Well Happy Easter everyone!! The true meaning for this holiday is celebrating the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Its not about the bunny (whoever he is) but about Him who died so we can all go to heaven! Just one more of these for April…
1. Been a weird week truly. Today is 8 months till my next birthday (withholding my age but I’m not shy its online just gotta know where to look!). Monday of last week late Monday till early Tuesday was a BLOOD MOON. Did you see it? I saw it. The moon looked like blood. The reason is really kind of neat. All our sunsets were displayed across the moon (rises too maybe?) as the earth, sun and moon lined up perfectly. Its not that rare at least not this year. We had one in 2011. But we have another this year beginning of October so if you missed this one hope you get to see that one. I saw Mars too. It was fun. My sister brought home some Easter Lily’s beautiful flowers till we found out they are deadly for cats. So now they are outside during day and inside at night high up. Pretty plants but scary for our cats…
2. Workouts this week have been kind of not there. Mind you I still walk a lot. Twice now in a row I have walked from work to the Sprinter and then once there walked to another place. So I have been working out like that. I did two workouts this week too was so excited. But sadly skipped on Friday going for a tiny walk instead and nothing else. I enjoy when I can workout. The weather is perfect and getting in shape is awesome! Mind even add another minute to my jog/runs shall see.
3. My carpel tunnel week two: not as bad as last week but honestly I am kind of sick of this. I am trying to soak it at night. I need a kit for my hands soon as I can. My hand doesn’t hurt as bad when not in the wrap but still needs it. Plus I cant bend it all the wall down. Today for example while wrapped I bent it pretty far and nearly screamed all while in the bathroom at the store. Yeah not fun. Sigh. Any tips for carpel tunnel? Throw them my way thanks!! Horrible hand issue go away…
4. Guitar this week. I am finally back to playing after a week break due to the CT (see #3). I am now back to chords again. Slowly making my way through the chords. I love to play. But not playing every day like I should means my fingers aren’t toughen up anymore they are soft so I have to go back to playing more. Or I cant play longer than 20 min without feeling the pain.
5. I just got off work my 2nd shift this week. I thought I wasn’t going to get paid till the 25th so me getting a live check on the 19th (from the 18th) was a shock. I had re-arrange my money again and now its kind of spread out. I will be paid 3x in May now not 2x. I cant do everything wanted to. My hours are really not much. I am praying for on call shifts and more hours as I get into this. I picked up a shift yesterday then worked my scheduled one today. My next shift isn’t until next Saturday (a full 8 hours my longest yet!). So I have the whole week off. Tomorrow I plan to sleep in I haven’t slept much past two days. And yes me working today caused us to miss church : ( I will watch on my ipod soon as I can so sorry!
