Welcome to April. April showers bring May flowers. Okay then I live in California I am unsure if we get that much rain! April is like several difference awareness months including Autism, earthquakes, something else. Plus its poetry month so I am trying to do “Poem a Day” again for April. These happen twice a year November is harder as I am doing NaNo but easier in April. April is also Poetry month that’s a fact! So what a difference a week makes! I know the saying is day but hey why not use it the way it is. Within two days of my last entry my life changed again for good! Yeah!!
1. Going to church again today. Wow this could become a habit. I just hope we get there on time and not super late. And they have some food. But long as there is something and coffee I am good. I am exhausted. Past week has worn me out! Not enough sleep most days. Still recovering from one day and next day less sleep. On Friday I had 7 hours, while yesterday and today only 4 each. I can nap later today but unsure how much … tomorrow I sleep in and I mean it. I might not even set my alarm clock!
2. We had rain this week. Twice two different days. In pieces at times mostly at night. Monday night but done by Tuesday. Tuesday night but done by Wednesday. Inbetween was breezy days and cooler temps. Now this week we are heading towards 80’s. Today is low 70’s. But tomorrow, Tuesday and Wednesday 80’s no kidding. Its gotten so cold at night its really confusing me. Its been below 70 nearly every night. I am now back to long sleeve shirt and pj pants because I took off a layer of my blankets few weeks ago. I was like I don’t use it as much as it has been warm enough for not having it. Then boom weird cold weather. Hope we warm up soon I am ready for more Spring like weather. Unsure about Summer but warmer at night is good since I am colder now! Maybe I should put that blanket back huh…
3. I have been working out this week. Yeah go me! Monday was just a walk. But Wednesday and Friday I am going on 30 min walk/run’s. Keeping in shape for two reason: I want to & incase we do any more future 5K’s I wont have to spend weeks and months preparing because I will already be running. Well jogging I don’t really run. I hope this week when I get back to it (not today or Tuesday) I can do some Zumba or wiifit. But even just a walk/run and bike are good. Anything is better than sitting around and not working out!
4. Yesterday went to my cousin Amy’s baby shower. She is having a boy next month. Hard to believe its been nearly 2 years since we did this the first time. And as of next month 4 years since she got married. SO much has happened in my life in just the past 4 years. Sure I am not married, no kids and not in my career job. But 3 moves! THREE moves! Lots of jobs, issues, unemployment. Anyways the party was fun but a different kind of fun. I took more pictures because I had an ipod touch to do so. In 2012 I was still saving for my ipod at the shower so I only had my phone. I prefer the ipod because the pictures are a slightly better quality, and they are a heck of a lot easier to put online if I want (and did) and to email then my phone. There you go! Different people there. She is having a boy not a girl. Stuff like that. I missed some people not there. But still had fun. Crazy fun. I didn’t win any prizes during the games but that’s okay! I did get candy to bring home yeah for candy! Hope I finish it this time ha ha I didn’t last time I forgot about it…
5. I saved this news for last. I GOT A JOB!!!! Tuesday on April 1st (God has a sense of humor I know it!) I went to Babies R Us. It was a long group interview. I was there 2 hours total (including about half hour waiting for my one on one after the group). But it was fun. I was called within two hours that I got hired but needed a background check. I worried about that for two days. And told very few people until I knew for sure. Then on Thursday I was hired!! My first day is this coming Tuesday for “paperwork” and Wednesday for “computer training”. And then we continue. Today after church we are hunting down a purple shirt and shoes for me. My sister now uses my non-slip shoes I last used when I worked at Hickory Farms. I just cant believe I have a job. I mean I will continue to work on my writing and getting a job in my career field. But I have a job. In a baby store. I joke in my head this could be a sign of things to come for me…You know never know. And God knows. I was hired on a day meant for jokes. And nearly on the spot! So thanks if you prayed for me I am so happy!!
Well hope everyone has a lovely week. Mine could be busy. I just know tomorrow sleep in, and work beginnings next two days later. I might work this week. I have a new work journal so happy about that! I love doing that have since Lego Store. Till next weekend have a good one!!
