Welcome to July! I woke with a sore throat today really hope its not a sign of being sick. Just a sign that I shouldn't lay next to a fan when its cooler out. Oddly enough it still says 79 inside like when I went to bed its just cloudy so I don't know what the deal is there. It doesn't feel cold. I am super tired too so that could be it...
1. Its been hot out like Summer out. And then on Tuesday we had a real storm for like half hour. Thunder, lightning and rain. Then it back to normal. I miss thunder storms like from TN and AZ and so that was really cool. That's California for you warm and sunny one minute back to this the next and sometimes some rain. Still in our drought so we can use anything we can get. No complaints! I did a real workout on Tuesday and I was gonna Thursday than I slept bad. I did on Tuesday a wiifit age 29 awesome and lost a 1lb since I last on a few weeks ago. It was not bad. Got a walk in both Tuesday & Thursday. So that was good. I need to do something if I am ever to get in shape again. And when I can I feel good after sorta but sore too haha
2. Took Rainbow to the vet on Tuesday wasn't fun for her or me. But good news is her kidneys so far are doing okay and she is getting better some ways like her blood pressure is lower. However they want to have me bring her back again at end of this month for the same check up. And I have to bring a pee sample I have no clue how I will get this. They may just have to get it themselves because that just might not happen. I appreciate the continued prayers for my little one I love her a lot!
3. Work is going alright. Just hours suck. Much like last year I thought they would improve. I hope they actually got my new schedule its odd how they don't give me more hours and what I get was what I had them before. I cant do anything about it. I give them my new one on the 20th of this month so I cant do a thing about that sadly. What can I say.
4. July 3rd marks the 11 years since we closed our doors for good to B&N. I will never forget that job, what it meant to me or the people I met. Sadly I am only still in contact in any form (aka facebook) with like 5 of those people from there. I wonder where the others are. I had no last names so finding them if I ever wanted to would be near impossible sadly. Also marks 19 years since my mom lost her sister which is my cousins mom. Mom remembers and will never forget that day and neither will I. Cancer sucks!
5. July 4th yesterday and we did something small. I did work of course. Last year I was lucky to be off. We got off okay time. So we rushed down to San Clemente. I know we didn't make the beach that wasn't gonna happen. But we did find a hill and watch some fireworks it was a fun time for sure. And hey we got to Denny's quicker and back home faster than the beach. Plus fireworks up close are just loud. I mean it was fun at the beach and might do again sometime but it was nice on a hill. My hearing is so sensitive.
