Happy Easter. Welcome to the last one of these for March. I know I cant believe it either. I was so looking forward to this month so much happened but its gone in a blur. While February crawled by THIS month did not. Wow. How about you?
1. The Hot Chocolate 5K was a blast once again. Our 4th year doing this, 3rd year doing the 5K. The day before on Saturday was such a rush that I didn't fully get to enjoy the whole thing. Which major sucked but the timing was off and such couldn't be helped. Sunday traffic was so bad for parking it took us over a half hour to get a place and ended up parking in a store lot blocks from where we were supposed to be, didn't pay because it didn't charge but bad side of town. Scary but we had no choice. We so late we were using the outhouses and they had done 2 letter sets before we got there. As always we last set G so still had time but not much. I had to pin my number on while standing there and barely got pictures before we took off. Walked the whole thing came in over an hour it was exhausting and my poor knee still hurts from it. But still fun! After we did Dunkin Donuts then came home and crashed and slept for 3 full hours of nice. I was so tired it was a fun time no complaints loved it.
2. Work was very slow last week. But I did work more than the week before. Last week I only worked 3 days due to the race. They cut my hours for reasons I don't get the race shouldn't be the reason! I only worked 13 hours while the week before 4! That sucked. This coming week hours aren't much better. I am once again relying on UE for one week the week before the race when I only worked just over 4 hours. Poo. Need a new job. Coming up to my 2 years with the company in a few days and still I am here sigh.
3. No school this week I was on Break but it was fun! I mean not going to school... Still I had my homework to do and just finished up that. And starting up 2 more online classes that look to be both very busy and very interesting I hope. I hope I pass them all ok I will try my hardest I promise. Cheers.
4. Did my first day of volunteering for the library last week. I came in on Wednesday. I learned a bit about publisher and then helped out with the teen book club. It was different as I wont be able to do that anymore as I normally in school Wednesdays. So I had a fun 3.5 hr time. I will be back again this week hurrah.
5. Today marks 4 years exactly since the 2 dogs from across the street attacked me and my dog. Tried to kill her tried to eat her while I held her above my head and the owner finally got them away. It could have ended so much worse so I am grateful still nothing bad happened. Thanks to Facebook updates I found this out it had been 4 years. Scary day never want to repeat.
till next week and APRIL have a good one. April will be a bit less exciting but still has something to it. Still feels odd Easter is gone and now no major holidays for a long time. Have a nice week everyone!
