Realizing today is the last one of these for September. This month has really flew by hard to believe it. And now we are having another heat spell in September. It super hot inside right now. And the fan feels like nothing. Work wont be much more fun since a/c is so not there. But what can I do. Well stay cool hopefully cooler than we are here in Southern Cali...
1. GYM this week was kinda a lot more than I thought would happen. Yeah! And more at my GYM too. The Planet Fitness by me. First I went alone before work on Monday. I had to be there early so I thought why not the GYM. It was a mistake in some ways because I was so tired and I had to work after and had just worked 3 days in a row. But I did go for like 45min. Then almost got late to work. Funny stuff. Thursday we were going to do our GYM but my sister sadly got cut early so she came and met me at ours. We had a nice interesting workout. Then yesterday Saturday we did our GYM first time this week. Had a nice workout. I am slowly but surely building muscles, getting faster on the treadmill and loving the GYM. I wish we had a pool especially since its so freaking hot out but otherwise no complaints.
2. School this week we are in week 5 going on week 6 this week. Which means we are just a few weeks away from the next classes I am taking. Currently 1 and maybe another shall see if they ever post book info and I can afford the book. My sister is also taking this class so we can share the book if she gets in and I can afford to stay in. But anyways. My other 2 online classes are alright. An odd mix. I hate doing this all online I miss being on PC campus. I will see it in like 2 weeks for my mid term but that is all the time I will see it for till December! Sigh. Oh well carry on. Will be back for more in the Spring. Hard to believe a year ago we had already done our first episode of Palomar Live and getting ready for the 2nd my first time on TV ever. Gulp. But it was so fun I don't know why I was so afraid. :)
3. Work this week was a bit more when I added a day. I worked a 6hr on Sunday, a 6hr on Monday, a 4hr on Wednesday, an 8hr on Thursday and that it. I asked for Saturday off for the race we doing and then we couldn't do it :( so I did not work Friday or Saturday much needed time off. I slept in a lot on Friday getting 12hrs of much needed sleep. :)
4. Did Disneyland and California Adventure on Tuesday the 20th (also just 3 months till my next birthday yikes). We only there 1 to 9pm but was still very exhausting. Didn't ride Tower of Terror. They closed and then when we made it back hour before park closing the line too long to wait and we so tired. Very bummer time. I hope to do it for Halloween or whenever maybe next month. We are trying to make it back once a month shall see if we can. But anyways. So we rode just 2 rides in Cali Adventure. And in Disneyland we rode 4. Including Haunted Mansion which is all holiday now very cool. And never before rode the space mountain galaxy Halloween version very creepy actually. LOL. Sad didn't make Matterhorn again or Indiana Jones. It was hot and sticky and did not rain there but did at home. Glad no rain but really truly miserable weather. I wondered why I brought a jacket and pants. I put pants on before we left and took off again before we drove off it too hot even for a shirt. Tank top and shorts would have done the whole day. But fun time glad we finally got to go since June haven't been!
5. Felt odd doing Harbor Days this year. We haven't been there since 2011 and since this year is now lining up just like 2011 we did it exactly to the date and day again. Only for like 45min but it still fun. A nice little ride my favorite part on the double deck bus. I call it double dutch. Heck. I call it Knight Bus and think of Harry Potter ;)
Well I am off to do stuff then go to work. Hard to believe its been 8 years as of the 24th we got Jackie & Rocky. God works in mysterious ways. We wanted kittens in 2007 then didn't. We were planning on getting gerbils. We had 2 cats and a dog we didn't need no more cats. But we couldn't find them a home and they grew on us and we love them so I am glad even if they were not planned for us they are with us now. Life would be lonely without some cats in it with Maggie and Princess now gone. And it would be kinda dull honestly. Love you two! See you all in October have a nice week!
