Happy 1st of these in April. This is NO joke it is actually Easter. Happy Resurrection Day Jesus has come back from the dead. He is not in the tomb anymore. And happy 4 years to me since I got my former job. Because that is what this day is even if my job is gone...
1. March 28th marked 9 years since our almost tornado by our house. It hit the boys and girls club that day in 2009. I was home alone with the babies all 5 of them (4 cats 1 dog) during a severe thunder storm warning. My sister at work. And we had tornado watch NEVER a warning. The next day my sister asked if a tornado had hit the boys and girls club near by. Turns out it had. It was pretty close to us. It went through a movie theater by our house. This all happened just weeks before the good friday tornado that nearly hit our house for real. Oh boy. I don't miss storms but at times I do. I'm weird like that.
2. Did Church on Palm Sunday that was nice. I love my church. I should have worked after but my job cut my shift. So I came home and had a nice long nap of like 4 hours. Love my church
3. Working on my radio stuff on Saturday of SPRING BREAK. That is how long it took me to do anything for it. But I worked on my music some so that is good. Monday begin the next half of the semester and my new online class. Fun.
4. Did Universal on Thursday kinda last minute. I couldn't get a shift at work on the last day. And our water got shut off for 8 hours so we went there for like 8 hours. There 12 to 10. It was EXHAUSTING. Wait 10 hours?? Never mind. We got there around 12 and were there till 10 no wonder I was tired. Still we rode 2 rides hadn't yet. Got wet and such. Was hot then very cold. Weird California weather. Unsure when we going back but probably not again for a month or more.
5. My job is gone. My store is closed. I worked twice last week. Monday & Wednesday each time I worked 8hrs. We almost out of crap and could have closed on Wednesday but had enough to stay open till Thursday last day. Store closed. And I am not there anymore. Jobless. I applied for unemployment on Friday. God has got me
Well this will be an interesting time now. More time for God. More time for cleaning. More time for bird watching. And sleeping. And less time with anything else. I know God has got me. I will not be afraid. Because life is just that crazy and can change kids just like that. See you all next week. Back in school this week hurray. Have a nice holiday and see you all then!!

The Weekend 5 (Sunday, March 25th 2018)
Welcome to the last of these for this month. I should be working today but I lost my shift. I am grateful for 2 days this week I could have none as 5 of my co workers found out last minute. I am sad how close we are to the end I am so sad that I will never again see all these people I love and work with. My job will be a dead body. And pretty soon no more. I am sad. But God is good and in control and He will work this out for my good. I know it. Just trusting Him for the details is the thing I am working on but I am grateful as I try to trust He helps me. How great is God? Good ALL THE TIME!
1. It has been 20 years since I got my first job ever! I went and got a job at AMC Theaters and worked there 5 years. I worked there the last 3 months of my high school senior year. What a real job it was. I made friends. Mostly guys. I had fun. I got experience. It was weekends so nothing harsh. And I helped pay for my senior things like prom and packages. Yes it was interesting indeed to work my first job while in high school.
2. Work this week was busy but not so much. We are wrapping up our final days here at my job as stated. Last day is March 29th I don't work it unless they want me to come in I have told them so maybe I will. If Not I file for unemployment by Good Friday at the latest. Yup. But I love my job and will miss it horribly so.
3. Did the Hot Chocolate 5K on Sunday and it was fun!! Our 6th year they began this legacy thing. Since we done this 6 times we got our 5th year one. Its new and fun. We got medals, beanies, pins, a paper to wear, a hat. All this and more. Plus the usual. Sure I was running on 45min of sleep if that. They gave us two bowls after I was hyper on chocolate for real. Got dunkin donuts then came home. Fun time for sure. Love that race.
4. School is great. Did my show 7 at school and off next week for break. Also worked on my promo for the radio show. I have more stuff I am going to do too. All in April & May. I love my radio show and I will miss it next week.
5. Rain this week yes. But not like they said. They claimed flooding mudslides and tornados. I barely saw anything. So it rained but not really like I thought it would. Kinda over predicted. Now that it is Spring I hope this is the last rain I am very much over it.

It is one of many things I wish I could have seen in person but have imagined every time I read about it. This is the Holy Week. We celebrate Easter next week as well. And I will be jobless. The Weekend 5 (Sunday, March 18th 2018)
Welcome a few days late. So sorry. I blame the lack of sleep and the crazy weekend on me not getting this up till two days late. Hope you are a having a great week so far! Beautiful weather here finally after so much ugh weather for weeks and a promised storm this week again on Thursday no thank ya
1. Media days happened at school. Sadly I only got to hear one person. They skipped this all together last year and then said it would come back in the fall which it didnt. But always fun to hear about people in the media biz how they got there. And so fourth. Wish could have heard the radio person since I am now a bit more interested in this field since doing my station at School. oh hum. Oh well
2. School is going alright. I sorta dropped out of my English class my first W in a year. I survived fall with no W and now I am back to another one. I am sorry dear teach I wanted to keep up. But my lack of sleep and energy plus my sister dropping HER English class so my Tue & Thur would be way different then we began. I am taking a late start online class begins April 2nd. And I do have radio stuff both my show and coming to help once or twice a week to do stuff on campus for my hours for my internship. Again wishing this was a class not an internship making it zero fun doing this. I mean I love doing my radio but hate having to be forced to work extra time and hours to get them in each week and I am massively failing this one. Ugh. My show 6 went fantastic. I had two weeks of blah issues but this time minus my final sign off I had no problems. ENCO behaved. I had fun. And yeah not bad at all. One more of these before our spring break next week
3. Work is going insane. I am serious. On Friday we had so much traffic it was like the weekend but on a Friday which is usually a slower day of the three for the weekend. NOPE. We were none stop ringing for the last near 3hrs of my shift. So there is that. We close now on the 29th. And I don't even work that day. So unless they want me in and I said I can work I told two managers now. Then my last day is March 28th. I cant file for unemployment till I am done with my last day. So yeah I might wait till March 29th incase they call me in. And if not file then. I am unsure how long UE will take to come and how much it will be. But if its enough I will take my time looking for a job. If not I will rush. I will miss you job I will really miss you. I will miss my co workers both those still with us and those who left since we began to close and even those gone for years!! I will miss the schedule I had set each day. I will miss being able to shop at Walmart or hit the GYM things that will be a problem now when not so close to both from my job. It will be a different world for me begin March 30th. But I do have Good Friday off now so I can do church both that day AND Easter I am so excited!! Small things will get me by. God will get me through it. I am going to be okay. I will miss a few people more than others. But still sadness
4. Did Church this week on Sunday. Then went to work later because yeah I had to. Oh well. Lost 1.5hrs but it okay. I love church have I not mentioned this. I will miss it on Sunday I post this because well we doing a race. Thats for next week though so yup for real.
5. So Saturday I had the whole weekend off. I went to San Diego to pick up our packets for the Hot Chocolate race. Then we walked around down town for St Pattys Day. Went in a bar. My sister wanted an Irish coffee and to try this. It was a small bar that was very crowded SO LOUD. I still think it gives me nightmares. I hated it. How can people go to these things? We saw bigger bars as we walked after should have waited for them. Plus my sister had to pay a cover for each of us. Yuck. SO yeah that was an experience wasnt adding to no bucket list thanks you.
Well Spring is a beautiful time of year. Reminds me of TORNADOS. Do I miss them? No. But I do miss them too not them but yeah. Its hard to explain. I miss TN I miss so much. Its weird to miss something you had for 3 yrs when you lived in one place your whole life. But I miss all that not there too. My old job and such. Going back someday would be weird but still want to. Well have a great day everyone. See you all on Palm Sunday. The week of Holy is upon us. Even if Easter is on April 1st... Weird next I write you will be on the last week of my job. Life is odd but God is good. Its a simple thing I am learning on repeat over and over again. Till then have a great week!!

The Weekend 5 (Sunday, March 11th 2018)
Welcome to this one on a wet rainy weekend. Wow we getting a lot of rain. How are you guys doing? I swear no rain for California none then past few weeks every other day it seems rain rain rain. Rain go away come again another day. But not in a week we have a race and that would be a miserable time if we it rains then.
1. Church did it last week. My sis joined me yeah. Had to leave early again. But glad to go. I love our church little as it is. And if I am not working on the Good Friday of this year I will probably go to the service they will probably have its up in the air. Shall see
2. Went to Legoland this week for like 2 hours. Met up with my cousin her two kids her friends which are our friends and their kids. Lots of kids was fun. Doing the park with kids is always fun. But it was tiring. Only road one ride nothing harsh. Always good to be with family. I haven't seen my second cousins in like 1.5 yrs. Hey guys
3. Friday after I did my radio show we headed down to Universal Studios. We were there about 3.5 hrs. Had fun but was tiring. Road Harry Potter twice. Plus the tour bus. Got 2 butter beers, tried fish and chips at the restaurant. Got a broom not a wand. I still have enough for two wands. Not much else. But had fun. Love going there. But the drive there not so much fun.
4. Work is busy busy busy. We still sadly set to close on the 31st. I want it over but don't want it over. So hard to explain. I am going to miss my job my friends co workers. But same time the busy all the time is just exhausting. It really is taking its toll on my health and its not helping others too. Same questions daily. My patience being tested. I get it now I just need more patience.
5. School is alright. I skipped on Thursday but trying to not drop my English two weeks left to decide. Radio had fun doing my show again. At least it behaved and such. So that was fun. Love radio love my show. Cant wait for it each week. Even when it misbehaves.

The Weekend 5 (Sunday, March 4th 2018)
Hello. Welcome to March. Sorry this is a bit late. Had that kinda weekend. Yawn. Hope you are all doing well.
1. So it has been raining a lot this past week. Off and on several days. You think its gone and then it comes back. We had rain three times last week. And this next week more rain possibly. Of course on the weekend when we doing Universal Again blah. Just hope it behaves the following weekend. We are almost to our 6th time doing the Hot Chocolate Race and really don't want to have to deal with that rain chance while doing that race. Oh please behave weather
2. Did church last week. So glad to keep going to church each week. Yes in two weeks no church cause of the race. But got to finish the book of Philippians and learned a lot about that book. Hard to believe we are now heading towards Easter. And who made the bright idea to make it on April 1st this year? Right? Yeah weird. But yeah its coming up soon
3. Worked a lot this past week. Of course due to closing sooner than I think we are busy ALL the time. We always leave past the half hour after closing. Before this we were leaving early every night nearly. It was so dead. Not anymore. Dying store=more hours. Our last day could be the 31st of this month but probably sooner. Just kinda hoping maybe before that weekend because I would love a chance of doing the Good Friday service at church on the 30th. But hoping won't be the weekend of the race as I would be sad to not see everyone one last time that still is there. We have lost 4 people so far. People just don't care. No real benefits of staying minus the UE letter we will get I guess. I will be on UE no matter what when we done but unsure for how long. God has got me in this. Maybe I just need a rest from work. That could be the case. A piece of me wants to just finish out the semester before I get a job but I will try to look this week I meant to last week but didnt work out. But it will be OKAY I will be OKAY I know it.
4. School going alright so far maybe. Wrote my first paper barely got it in but a minute late hope the teacher gives me the points. I swear if I get nothing I will drop the class. I will not lose 100 points for a paper I truly did work on for days. Not my fault I worked all weekend been going since Friday. And had to come home later today then norm because a special weekend my sister had me wait longer then I normally would for a Sunday. Boo. Unsure how did on my first test will know on Tuesday
5. Radio was a fun time but had issues again. I have a promo I need to do this week. Lots to do this week. Busy week for sure. But love my show. I love playing music. I love saying trivia researching and all that jazz. I in general hope I can come back in the Fall I would totally do this long as they will let me come back to school and long as they let me come back to the station. Just unsure how my manager thinks I am doing. He likes me but unsure.
Well that is all I can think of. I lost my GYM again this week and now no chances next two weeks. blah. Oh well. I need to work out at home if I am not going to do it there. But sad I pay now for something I don't use except for free pizza once a month. Ick. Well have a good one. Stay warm. New time change next weekend. See you then!
