Welcome welcome. Hard to believe this is actually my last one of these for May. What a month it has been! How was your week? Mine was busy and that was very fine with me!!
1. Our weather wow is just nuts. I cant get over that it rains one minute fine the next. Just crazy. Hot one minute cold at night and I am like are we in Winter or are we in Spring? Cause truly it seems like we are in Sminter maybe or Wing cause it is not for sure either season. And I know the rest of the USA is having their own share of odd weather too.
2. Tuesday I said good bye to my Spring show for Palomar College! I am coming back in the Summer JUST UNSURE WHEN AND THAT SHOULD BE OKAY DECIDED SOON! I hope at least. But I had a lovely last show. I did 2 of the 3 Hours live on facebook. Which was insane. I do have goals I need to get them going: look into getting a foot in the door at a station as another job if not a dj, do an internship in the fall and the radio class (that would mean me having 3 days off of a job whatever job I am at-interning possibly 2 or 3 of them and then also doing a show), and of course doing my show this summer. Are there are any jobs out there that I can do that will be Friday to Monday? Letting me have off Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday? I am unsure. I am praying about this and I know it will work out according to Gods will not mine for sure. I can plan all I want but I do not want anything out of Gods will for me. EVER AGAIN!
3. Work as usual is nuts. BUT I love doing morning shifts again!! Sure I am tired as crap maybe more than ever. I was after all for 2 months just doing all nights AND IT WAS KILLING ME from the inside out and outside in. So there was that. I did morning shifts and closing shifts. I was off on Friday so I only worked 4 times this week. I might die from getting up early but I would rather die that way then die from closing 5 days a week. I am looking in June to either transferring to another position in the store or going to another store. I prefer to stay at my store but honestly don't know if they will have any openings currently. We are doing a remodel that will last from July to October. So I am doing this all just weeks before that begins. Gulp. Big gulp. But I am not meant to be at that front door for good. Just temporary I keep telling myself this is not the end of all ends.
4. Thursday we went to the Safari Park our first time this year with our new passes. Had fun in the Australia area and then saw the elephant babies and a few birds before leaving. Only there like 3hrs. But it good weather. Looked like rain felt like not cloudy and crisp not hot not cold medium well.
5. The Mixtape tour was SO MUCH FUN! I am sad it is over. I had built this up since last year and counted down to it for weeks before this. New Kids on the Block main thing. Plus Debbie Gibson, Tiffany, Salt n Pepper, and Naughty by Nature. Fun fun time. our seats were not great but my sister because she said something to the lady next to us asked and they let us sit up top so we were in regular seats not bench seats that would have killed me to sit in because of my bad knees. I truly do have a bad knee I have two of them no lie. Idk why we asked oddly enough after we there a bit people kept coming up there not asking sitting standing and dancing right by us. Oh boy.
That is all for now. This week is boring and nothing going on. Just work and such. Hope to know soon when I will be back for my show. And as June approaches. Summer is coming. Hopefully better weather and such things. Beach time and all that jazz. And hopefully at least one trip to Universal Studios. Lets hope! See you all in June.
