Watching Golden Globes and missing Amy & Tina :( Also wondering why I haven't even heard of most of the winners in film. I guess I didn't watch much movies last year not ones that mattered. How it goes lol.
1. We had so much rain last week it was raining almost every day! On Tuesday and Wednesday were the biggest days. Although we had some rain on Thursday and Friday too. We even had a chance for tornado wow that was crazy. In California where it does happen but around here yup. In 1 day we had one by possible in Escondido the other by La Jolla. I took pictures of the weather channel reporting this. All we had was rain and wind. In fact with all this rain all we had this week I didn't hear any thunder or seeing any lightning bummer. My favorite thing and we got none. I think other places got that but us not so much.
2. The 6th marks 6 years since we lost our cat Princess. Well MY cat. My last and only cat. I miss her so much still. I will never forget her last moments her last day. When my sister carried her down the stairs I was just doing the wiifit for one of my first times since I'd gotten it. We lived in TN and we had 4 cats at the time (Jackie & Rocky, Maggie & Princess). We knew she was getting worse was glad she made it past Christmas. Then came January. And that fateful day. We had to go to work and leave her downstairs so she was not alone and cold. We put the heater by her and let her be. I think we locked Jackie & Rocky away so she only had Rainbow. But my tough little girl she held on till we got home. She didn't want to die alone. And just after midnight she left us. We watched her die. She could not hold her head up. I took a few pictures that morning. Came home thinking she gone. But she not she still there. She made it to 17.5 years old. She was so thin. Who knows why she died being thin, being sick or being old. Whatever the reason. She made it just over 5 years after we lost her sister. Then we lost Maggie last October she made it 5 years after Princess. I have no idea why this is. I love you Princess Angel. I will see you someday I promise.
3. School is coming. Just 2 more weeks well ONE more week from now. I dropped 1 of my PC classes and now I still have 18 units. I lost a class today. I had one cancelled on me low enrollment. I am asking for help for books and praying they give me help for all mine. I need around $200. That doesn't count my one late start that I am unsure if I am keeping. MCC starts in 2 weeks they start 1 week after PC. So far for them I am taking 1 class online. Unless I magically make it through the wait list for the other 2 I was so hopeful for but doubting now. This is my last semester with MCC. I did apply for FASA for school but only included PC. I am hoping if I only include the 1 school I actually go to and do lots of classes with I might still get it for 2 more semesters. We shall see. Hopeful
4. I actually did work out this week wow! On Monday when it not raining much I went on a walk and bike. That was fun! I did the wiifit on Wednesday including doing the running and the biking ones crazy stuff haven't done in 190 days and I aged at 25 not bad. And then Friday I did a walk, and then a Zumba. We are about 10 weeks from our Hot Chocolate race and if we did the 15K I really need to step it up and actually begin to train ASAP for it. I do not want to walk the whole thing. Last year I made it 2 miles all due to that sinus infection. Ick.
5. Work this past week NOT so much. This week is a repeat of last. I worked last week Sunday and Saturday. Same for this one I am in now. But of course once school starts my first week I am working 4 days at 22 hours. Our checks are now $10 per hour due to the California raise. I am happy for that. While its nice to get 22hours one week no promises will continue to get that. I am for real looking for work this week. Like more than just craigslist jobs. I have my info and I am ready to begin searching. Wish me luck!
Well gotta go now. I write daily on Live Journal and am aiming to keep that up all year long. We are doing day 10 tonight. Its fun but not easy doing it daily. I've never written every day but I used to write nearly when I first got my LJ blog Oct 2001. I am worried about my dog shes been coughing up mucus since yesterday some not a lot but still. Tomorrow vet more next weekend. And school will be at the beginning again. Till then have a nice week.
