Welcome to January and also to the new year of 2016! You gotta love it is the YEAR OF THE MONKEY! I will talk more about that when the Chinese New Year begins on Feb 8th. I wish I could have been born in the year of the monkey. Instead I was born 11 days too soon (1980 was the nearest one). But since the new year begins in February I guess I was born 2 months too soon LOL. I am instead year of the goat. Tech last year was my year and goat describes me more than monkey.
1. New Year and new me. I have a good feeling something will happen this year I just don't know what. Boyfriend or a career job are my top hopes that I am right on. I will not hold out for marriage or kids but hey if I am closer to one thing by end of year I will NOT complain. I spent new years eve at work and new years day. Just much like other holidays it didn't feel like a holiday. I did not do a year in review here like normal but that is okay. I am glad 2015 is over with!
2. Work last week was a lot. I worked 20 hours a record for me. First time in months worked this much. I don't know why they went outside my normal schedule as I didn't give them a new one. But sadly back to hardly anything. Worried about my unemployment. The lady said its only 6 months but my claim does not expire till July. I am hoping this is true. I better have a better new job by then. I better have one way before then. I cant keep doing this. I don't have enough $$ for school books or anything else hardly. I don't know what I am going to do sadly.
3. Was worried about Rainbow. She developed a change to her usual barking voice. She barks ALL the time. But for some reason while we gone on Tuesday she suddenly went and barked herself crazy. I was going to take her to the vet on Tuesday but will be cancelling now. I am glad she is feeling better. I was super stressed out over what was causing this change.
4. We did LEGOLAND one last time on Wednesday the 30th. I was unable to do the new years eve brick drop because of course work scheduled me unexpected. It was fun doing a few hours with my sister. Normally it is just me we don't just do the parks together. Was not there long enough for too much. We went to Sea Life. Then rode 3 rides including the merry go round. I am not a small person I am a grown up and not skinny and NOT in shape. Yet I had to lift my leg and spread so wide for that horse I thought I would die. I was umcomfortable but laughing. Took a few days to feel more normal. I was joking I was ready to have a baby now I am all stretched out. HAHA so funny!
5. Tuesday was a very long day. With the family we drove 3 hours to Yuma, AZ. Just to go to Cracker Barrel which we have not been to in almost 5 years. Our last time was in September 2011. But my parents have not been since December 2010 it was 5 years for them. They got breakfast we got lunch. It was so good I was so happy. It was like a dream. I missed AZ so much. Being back in our beloved state in Yuma no less. Seeing that there is a lot more to Yuma then I thought I think if I am supposed to do it I might try for a job at their tv station. I would be able to get experience. I would need to move there of course with my sister and our remaining pets. The rent isn't too bad. Plus just 3 hours from home. I am not saying this is GOING to happen but I am keeping it in the air right now. I am willing if it is supposed to happen it will.
3 years marked since I lost my job at Hickory Farms as of December 28th. 2012 was a nightmare for me job wise. LEGOLAND twice rejected me from working there for good in October last time. And then HF happened. It set in motion 2013 my year of NO jobs looking all the time and unemployment till it gone for good. I will never get why I had to be part of that mess. I would NEVER steal anything from my job not even a penny if I did not give one back. It still upsets me them involving me like that when I did nothing wrong! Well that is all for now. Supposed to rain this week and next week. El Nino is finally making her approach. We shall see if this does happen. Till next weekend have a great one everyone!! See you then!!
