How’s your May going? Mine is going okay. I am still working. The weather is behaving. Its been an okay week too I guess. Hope the same for you.
1. Since today is Mother’s Day thought I would begin with that. My 3rd one home after 4 years gone. We just went out to dinner with my mom at Island’s it was a nice dinner. Gave mom her gifts. Sadly mother’s day always means remembering my grandma gone. She died 8 years ago yesterday (10th) and I miss her so much especially this time of year always near mother’s day. I always wish she would have hung on a few more days but wonder if that would have been worse or better thing had she done so. Smell the roses grandma in heaven I’m thinking of you today!!
2. Workouts this week are so short I’m wondering why I put them in this at all. But since I went out ONE time this week after nearly TWO weeks of not working out. I guess we can celebrate. I will celebrate more if I get out this week at all. I went out once and it was a good workout too. My moms new bike is interesting almost like not riding one at all. But better than nothing which is what I had the week before that when I last worked out.
3. I worked this week three times. I was called in on Monday night to work EARLY Tuesday 6am-11am to do stock. It was interesting not bad and glad I got by. I worked a regular shift Wednesday lost an hour it was slow boo. And Saturday I closed for the first time. I have now experienced nearly every shift possible at work. Closing wasn’t so bad just putting stuff away and straightened. Just because I have never here before doesn’t mean I have never closed just not at this store. I like my job. Hours this coming week are shorter I am praying for a call in in the next 3 days. I work more next week gladly so that is good. I hope things are picking up!
4. The 7th marked 10 years since I graduated from college. I am still in shock that it has been 10 years and I have been nearly no where I am supposed to be. I had such promise 10 years ago. I can blame whatever I want on why things went the way they did. Either way I am sad that I have accomplished little planned since I walked across and got my BA degree. Lets hope for better stuff in the next 10 years yes please!
5. I left this for last as its my favorite of the week. We saw “Stars on Ice” in San Diego on Friday night it was the best time ever! Sat about 5 rows up so close to the ice. It lasted nearly 3 hours and it was SO MUCH FUN to see all these Olympic skaters skating around in front of us. Better then tv for sure. I am so much a Charlie White & Meryl Davis fan its not even funny. They are 100% beautiful in person better than on tv so much better. Had so much fun!! I videoed it and took pictures. Best time. I do recommend if you can see them when they pass through your area you seeing them so good!!
Well Mother’s Day is almost over. Hope you all had a good one. This is my first slow week in two nothing ahead of me right now. Hope its not a boring week. Have a good one everyone. See you next Sunday!
