Welcome to the 1st of these for October! Wow October is here. Do you know what that means? 2014 is nearly over! Crazy! Been a busy week so on with the show…
1. Starting to wonder why I even bother to put workouts on these things. This week I took ONE walk yes just ONE walk. That is it. Not even a real workout. More get my dog out of the house so she can have fun time. And that was it. Of course I worked a lot and walked to the sprinter 4 out of the 5 days this week that I worked but still…yeah no workouts sadly.
2. Work is busy. I just finished my 31 hour week yesterday. This week I am only doing around 18 hours not as much but adds up nicely with last week and I can say this much: my check will be pretty awesome and enough to save. I am thinking it will go towards school books if nothing else and want to keep doing this as I get more money. Work is alright. I don’t mind working so much or in the mornings or mids just hate closings. So next week will not be much fun. This week I work again on Thursday a closing and Saturday an opening. But then Sunday begins the week of closings. Plus they messed up my schedule having me work Wednesdays when I cant and on Thursday which I asked for off they said they’d fix it just hope I don’t get in trouble cause I was told to “not worry about it.” Anyways…
3. Well just went it began to cool down now its heating up. I hope this little heat spell is gone soon .We are now officially in our fire season and I cant help but thinking of how 2007 right before we moved how bad the fires were around here. So we had a heat spell this weekend. Lucky me I worked most of it but coming out today and the other days you can tell it was hot. Its now mid 80’s inside but not as bad as the last few where it was like 87 this time of night! But middle of the night it gets cool enough to go under the covers and I finally put my warm blanket back on my bed. NOT both of them but my quilt so I am all set there… I love the cooler weather and hope it sticks soon I am really over this heat
4. School is going alright. Just 1 week left of my office class. I screwed up and didn’t do two assignments and I have NO idea how that happened. So I did those late unsure how many points I will get for it. Ironic as I had just done the extra credit. Will see but so far think I am getting either a low B or high C in the class! Anywho one more week of that. Then next week I began TWO new classes. I have the books on their way for sociology should be interesting. I am testing this one out. I took this same class (subject not same exact class) back at Vanguard but that was 2001. I thought about minoring in sociology the study of people and didn’t but now I thought why not take a few classes so this will be the first. I hope to take a few more after this. Online and 8 weeks hope I don’t die that’s like crazy. The book one I am renting the book on my ipod kindle soon as I get paid again…so yeah.
5. Leaving my sadness for last. I miss you Grandma Swank more than I let on. I miss everything about you. This year we let 3 balloons go to you. Sadly only mine made it past the trees by the mission where we ended up going. I wanted to do the beach or something. But we did that and well there was a tree and the two others tied together done after mine went up well they just kind of stuck in the tree. We drove by there the next week and you could see them still up in the tree. Grandma always said she was a bird and now heres proof again. Mine flew the others stayed. Unsure if they still there. I miss her so much though so every year on September 29th our her birthday we think of her and her gone. I think about her more than that but there you go…
Well that is all for now. Been enjoying new and old tv shows this week and last. More to come this week the rest of the CW shows come back on the air. And then the NBC shows in a few weeks. Bad thing about working all these nights is me missing out on these wonderful shows and having to watch them online sigh…or in the case of some two shows on at once means I have to choose which to watch even if its not the one I’d want to watch the most… well till next weekend!
