We are still here!
1. So May 21st 2011 was predicted as the day the rapture would happen. Although it wasnt as I have read in the Bible. There wont be a huge earthquake happening at 6pm in each time zone. It will be all at once in the twinkling of an eye and most importantly without anyone predicting it. Only God knows the hour not even Jesus or the angels. So am I shocked the world continues as of today the next day? No I am not shocked. If yesterday was supposed to be the day it does make me sad now it wasnt cause one guy decided to try to predict it was. You'd think he'd have given up after 1994 when he tried this the first time (which until Fri I wasn't aware of).
2. On Wed the day we were going to do our mall I had TWO calls from Arizona Mills. Yes two I had given up on as they werent hiring. The first one up was on Thur for Rainforest Cafe. I had to go with my sister all day just to have a 10 mint interview where the manager proceeded to act like it was odd I had lots of seasonal jobs. Even if I was with Borders for almost 3yrs! And Lego was on there too (over 2 years). "So, you only work seasonal jobs...?" huh? Anyways. The second one is on Wed at Gymboree at 7pm. I didnt heart back from RF on Friday for second interviews and hence have given up on them.... and NO we never made it our mall after all we joked God didnt want me trying there haha
3. I called American Eagle back on Monday as it had been almost 2 weeks and the guy who answered said the mgr is out on sick leave for 6 to 8 wks and he is in charge. Then he took down my info to check my file. I havent heard back from him yet so I am about to give up on this as well... and sick leave? Did it have anything to do with her bad foot/toe I wonder...hum.
4. On Thur I found out I may have an internship. I wont know for sure till I go to the orientation. Since I am going out of town for a week I told the lady that and she sent me the info for the orientation. Now waiting for CSB in GA to get back to me with my letter to print out (hurray up!) and then on Thur from 2 to 4 I will be doing that. It means getting up early again, going with sister for one hour then making my way downtown via the bus & lightrail. Praying this works out!!
5. Yeah is it shocking. Everytime I try to do an internship the devil decides to throw his spiritual attacks on me. My phone which has been fine for nearly a month now froze again. It froze and didnt want to come back so I called and talked to at&t. And I swear they put you thru such crap there. The guy tried to claim the reason my phone was frozen was too many text msgs? Huh? The first time it happened in April there were hardly any at all! So I did his little instructions (even though I knew they wouldnt work) as the phone had been dead when it froze and wouldnt charge but I told him this and he still thought plugging it in for an hour then taking out the battery all night would make magic happen. All it did was kill the battery cause I turned it on next day (Friday-still frozen) and had to call back again. Then the girl there was being a true pain. I think bigger then the guy. She told me that it wasnt activated till April 23rd even though I got it in the middle of Feb and so I cant replace the whole phone. She kept telling me (even though I told her I CANT) to take it back to where i got it from so they can replace the whole phone. Do they ever listen? UGH! Now shes sending me a battery on Mon or Tue and if its not them then I have to call and get rest of phone replaced. In the meantime it will be past the 23rd so if we had waited till Monday I could have gotten a full replacement at all! Lame Lame Lame. I think its lame. Oh and after doing it my way plugging phone in for like 8 hrs with it turned on it finally unfroze and is fine again for now... praying its the battery as our trips in a week and I cant handle this much longer AHHHHH
Last entry till Cali is next week!! I'm going to do it on Friday early cause otherwise I would have to wait till we in Cali to do it...stay tuned!!
