Last one of these for June. The odd thing I don’t get about June was as much as I hardly worked it went by really fast but not a lot happened. May seemed long because I worked a lot and a lot happened and went by slow…Time is confusing that is all!
1. Workouts this week have not really been workouts persay. But I have done workouts if you count them. We went on a hike kind of on Monday explored this park by us. It is just that a park but it still was woods and trails and was kind of fun. Sadly it cost $3 to park and we found a free spot but they close at 8 so we only had 45 min to explore by time we got there. But it was different. I did a walk on Friday in the evening and included some bike in there and FOUR Michael Jackson Experience video game dances which was so much fun but felt that afterwards. And today I plan a Zumba which I haven’t in a while plus walk and bike. This coming week will be kind of crazy. EVERY day but today that I should workout I work or am doing something. So I will TRY to do something inside at least on Tuesday & Thursday. I also did work yesterday so I had a walk to the Sprinter (which always makes me tired when I am not used to it!). So there you go.
2. The 25th was 2 things. My ex-best friends wedding anniversary 4 years wow there you go. But most important its been 5 years since Michael Jackson died. I will never forget how I found out my sister text me while I was at McDonald’s waiting for my late shift at Borders Books. I went into work a bit early to tell my co-workers and they didn’t know and they told everyone else on the headphones. So sad! I miss him terribly. I feel so bad for his kids still growing up without a dad. In honor of him I listened to a lot of his music. And the MJ thing I did on Friday (see above) was for him I just ran out of time to do it on Wednesday. Miss you still king of Pop 5 years gone!
3. So Rainbow my baby girl dog just turned 12 on Monday the 23rd. I cant believe she is getting much older. I know she will be here a few more years but still it was a harsh birthday. We did have some fun. I gave her a dress from PetCo for her birthday (a birthday dress). A small plush monkey she doesn’t touch toys like she used to so I’m glad I didn’t spend too much. We did go on that walk by the park which I talked about in #1 up there. On Thursday Jackie and Rocky turned 6! Although we don’t know their real birthday its always fun to celebrate. I got them just one toy to share they have way too much toys and don’t really play with them as much as I would like them to. But yeah they are 6 wow crazy.
4. I call this past week a week of babies. On Tuesday our baby sitter for my sister had to bring her 9 month old son over. He is just a doll. He was kind of quiet and just let me hold him a lot. He is so lovable and took right to me. I was holding him about half the time while his mom the other for a few hours. He didn’t want to sleep for some reason. Too excited. What a cutie! Then on Thursday evening we visited my cousin and my 2nd cousin who had her daughter with her so I guess she is my 3rd cousin. She is just 7 months but such a cute baby. Got to meet her. I didn’t hold her but took some pictures. She was so sleepy so she slept most of the time. But was fun.
5. I didn’t work much so I left that for last. I only worked NOT kidding just one time since I last wrote. I worked just yesterday. I spent the week very little call ins and those that did come in I couldn’t do as they were closing and its harder for me to do a closing then an opening or mid. Price I pay for not having a license AND a car. This week wont be much different. I don’t work again till Thursday. I wasn’t called today and even if called between tomorrow and Wednesday will be hard for me to take a shift. Sad but true. I am looking for a 2nd job this week as soon as tomorrow I hope. I know this isn’t my forever job and I’ve only been there 3 months. But I am pretty disappointed that I have dropped so low on hours. I am asking for comiccon off this week its coming up pretty fast. So that will mean hardly working at all that week but what can I say. It doesn’t seem to matter anyway…
Well here we are at the end of June. Yesterday was sad as I recalled it was Patches & Princess birthday. We lost my cat Princess in January 2010 and Patches in September 2004. Gone too soon. I miss them still I always will my kitty and her sister my sisters cat. I love our other pets but the longer you have an animal the harder it is to not miss them when they are gone… Well see you all in July. Interesting week ahead no idea what will happen!
