Welcome to February! The month of LOVE! Or as those of us who are still single refer to it Single Awareness Day (month). But hey better luck next year I say!
1. Work not so busy. Back in school so my hours drop. Lovely. I can work 5 days I get 4 and very little hours. Next week and the following are worse. Just when I think this job will be a stable at least through Summer when I am hoping to do an internship they do this BOO!
2. School is on. Week 1 done. So far not bad. I only have 2 classes so NO complaints. Sadly only ending this semester on 9 units. I added a 3rd a photo class online but doesn't begin till April. And I have to find out asap what kind of camera we require if any. That is how I decide to keep it or not. But my in person one is okay actually. 3 projects doing the first one this week. And the rest is re learning stuff in the mini studio I learned back in 2014. Hard to believe been doing this school thing every semester for almost 3 years now (this fall). I HOPE I am done by next Spring but that's based on if I have a job by then or am done with all the classes I want to take. Or if I switch majors and continue on with Sociology which I have not given up on yet.... Or library you never know!
3. Its been 9 years since our first almost Tornado in TN. I remember that night like yesterday very late on the 5th early morning 6th the tornado and storms heading for us. We camped down below with our stuff. Never having done this before NO weather radio yet. The sirens went off about 2am on the 6th we freaked headed to the bathroom listened on the only radio I had with batteries. But the storms thankfully turned to thunder storms and the tornado threat went away. Was a big storm though lots of thunder and lightning after but no tornados. Was still very scary!
4. Its been 4 years since we did the Electric Run on the 2nd of February. That was one of our first 5K's out here. WE would go on later that year to do the Hot Chocolate one and the St Pattys Day one. Fun times. It was longer then 3 miles for sure and exhausting. Rain some but not bad. Glow baby glow
5. Been 7 years now since we were extras on the February 2nd for Country Strong in Nashville. That was the best day and the longest. It was fun then we got stuck there waiting to be done. Which was mostly watching the extras who got paid at the end be in the film. While we waited on the side for her to be done. Could not take a single picture or get an autograph. But will not forget the entire film. And love that film! Very sad a bit but it still is an awesome film. I should watch it again soon I do own it :)
