Happy 1st of these in April. This is NO joke it is actually Easter. Happy Resurrection Day Jesus has come back from the dead. He is not in the tomb anymore. And happy 4 years to me since I got my former job. Because that is what this day is even if my job is gone...
1. March 28th marked 9 years since our almost tornado by our house. It hit the boys and girls club that day in 2009. I was home alone with the babies all 5 of them (4 cats 1 dog) during a severe thunder storm warning. My sister at work. And we had tornado watch NEVER a warning. The next day my sister asked if a tornado had hit the boys and girls club near by. Turns out it had. It was pretty close to us. It went through a movie theater by our house. This all happened just weeks before the good friday tornado that nearly hit our house for real. Oh boy. I don't miss storms but at times I do. I'm weird like that.
2. Did Church on Palm Sunday that was nice. I love my church. I should have worked after but my job cut my shift. So I came home and had a nice long nap of like 4 hours. Love my church
3. Working on my radio stuff on Saturday of SPRING BREAK. That is how long it took me to do anything for it. But I worked on my music some so that is good. Monday begin the next half of the semester and my new online class. Fun.
4. Did Universal on Thursday kinda last minute. I couldn't get a shift at work on the last day. And our water got shut off for 8 hours so we went there for like 8 hours. There 12 to 10. It was EXHAUSTING. Wait 10 hours?? Never mind. We got there around 12 and were there till 10 no wonder I was tired. Still we rode 2 rides hadn't yet. Got wet and such. Was hot then very cold. Weird California weather. Unsure when we going back but probably not again for a month or more.
5. My job is gone. My store is closed. I worked twice last week. Monday & Wednesday each time I worked 8hrs. We almost out of crap and could have closed on Wednesday but had enough to stay open till Thursday last day. Store closed. And I am not there anymore. Jobless. I applied for unemployment on Friday. God has got me
Well this will be an interesting time now. More time for God. More time for cleaning. More time for bird watching. And sleeping. And less time with anything else. I know God has got me. I will not be afraid. Because life is just that crazy and can change kids just like that. See you all next week. Back in school this week hurray. Have a nice holiday and see you all then!!
