Welcome to October. Say what? There are 4 of these for this month. And crazy as that sounds we are getting closer and closer to the end of the year. It was raining today and then it wasn't. If you want to know why Cali is in a drought watch the 80% drop to 60% to 50% and it still not rain that whole time! I remember it being 10% in TN and actually freaking storming things are so different here then there...
1. School this week was busy and crazy and gone too fast. My script was changed so many times the final script I used on Thursday was only 1 part mine. I wrote part of another but it was re-written. Then 2 other parts were written for me. But I had fun. It was nerve racking. But glad that I got through it, I was ON TV and yes I was https://vimeo.com/141205237 That link should take you to the video its 30min and I am on about 8min in. I might do it again so don't think this is the last you have seen me on tv haha
2. Work this week has been more busy! I worked 4 days Sunday, Monday, Wednesday & Saturday. Sadly this week down to just 3 days. Our race got moved to the 25th so I have no work this week on Saturday. Unemployment was kind enough to give me money for both my weeks which shocked me when I hit 11hrs I thought for sure that meant NOT ue that week but they gave me $13 and I needed it. I was still short on my check but making do best I can.
3. Grandma Swanks birthday was the 29th. Per norm we took some balloons and let them go to heaven to her. It has been 10 years since we last celebrated a real birthday with her. I miss her so much. We sent her 4 balloons and we let them go from the park by our house. I even brought Rainbow I never bring her but I did this time. Love you grandma Happy 103rd Birthday.
4. Rainbow gave me a fright on Friday. She had a bad coughing fit that did not seem to end and then came back again. Then she stopped. And nothing since like that. I made an appointment for this week I am going to reschedule as I don't feel comfortable making her stay down there for 6 plus hours while I am at work. If something comes up before our regular vet comes back on the 16th. I love my baby girl and ask for continued prayers.
5. My poor left shoulder. I have spent all week dealing with pain. At night losing sleep during the day suffering. I finally bought a wrap and I use it at night and it helps. But during the day it could hurt again badly. It was so bad that on Wednesday my 4hrs at work felt like 400. It was pain from bed time till bed time. The wrap helped and I can sleep which is good. But I wish I knew what I did to it. If it was work or it was me or both. Sigh.
